Dhhs Student Placement Agreement

This Clinical Placement Agreement sets out mandatory requirements for all students before starting an internship at a cancer agency institution. The latest clinical placement agreement is in effect for the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and 14 post-secondary schools. The agreement came into force on May 1, 2017. Many of the schedules relate to the processes of former regional health agencies (MSAs) that now apply to the SHA. The department strives to give students valuable work experience to help them in their learning and development. More information is available on the Ministry of Education and Training`s website (external link) information on policies and forms to help superiors, schools and students fulfill their work experience obligations, including the work experience manual. The department understands the diversity of our staff and volunteers (including students) and encourages applications from people with disabilities, including people with mental illness, as well as people from all cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Although GSB is not mandatory, DHHS is urgently encouraging health services that offer internships to clinical health students to take advantage of the protocol. It is the responsibility of the student or a representative of the school, for example. B of a professional experience coordinator, to address directly to an industry (see below). The industry may accept or reject the application, especially when there is no adequate control or work.

The list of the following industries indicates where we can get places to study. The application form for intermediation should be sent to your preferred business lines via the contact list below. The previous SSIP included students in the field of health and human services. However, the revised SSIP focuses specifically on clinical study places for health students. Student human services service providers can continue to use SSIP non-clinical health. The BSG offers standardized conditions in which students of training providers can be placed with placement service providers in order to benefit from education and training. For more information on the agreement or to inquire about the possibilities of placing students in the programs outside of those mentioned in this agreement, please contact us by email. SSIP helps reduce administration, improve the student learning experience and improve patient safety. Although IPS is not mandatory, DHHS encourages health services that offer clinical study placements for health students to use the protocol. The consideration and authorisation of the study place are determined by the sector of activity. Some requirements may not be considered due to commercial requirements.
